Our rules for publishing
- Original or licensed, always. Every entry is written by us or reproduced under a stated licence/permission (e.g. Tanzil's verbatim terms for Quran text). We never scrape other portals' databases, articles or images.
- Sources on the page. Any figure or text taken from a public source carries its source and date on the same page.
- Estimates are labelled. Third-party numbers (such as traffic estimates in our audit) are marked as estimates with their source and date.
- No invented precision. Where a value is calculated or derived, we say so and show the basis.
- Corrections. Reader-reported errors are checked and fixed in the weekly batch; a correction is never silently swapped — the page's source line shows its latest basis.
- Religious care. Islamic content is checked against the classical sources named on the page before publication. Text is published only when it can be published exactly.
